Great job. I think you need to change the first instrument used as the melody though, it sounds too bland. The instrument at 0:21 sounded great, but was a little too quiet. The switchover at 0:49 seemed a little delayed. at 1:20 got too quiet too fast. The melody at 1:34 delayed a little and was disorientating. The switchovers at 2:00 and 2:19 were disorientating as well because the melody seemed to be getting a little random. The problem with the switchover at 2:19 is that everything got quiet just before the new melody started. What you want is the background to drift over the quiet and into the new melody a little bit.
Good luck with your next piece of music!

thank you.

Love the vocals...AGAIN! At the drop and after that till 0:47, the dubstep didn't seem right. A lot too much, but when you added the electronic "chimes" it blended a lot better

huh.... I must not be hearing what you are saying. This is the second time you have said that. Wish there was a better way of letting you show me instead of telling me.

This feels like a song i would use for an anime project when one of the characters was figuring out something big. Great! The dubstep didn't seem to match up that well with the first melody though.
The kick, at the start, seemed just a tad too powerful. It seemed to take up that split second too much. Great job with the vocal mixups! Sounded Great!

Hyperion666 responds:

hmm yeah the kick was because someone wanted me to blare them Idk why I would do that sooo many people seem to know everything about dubstep. Keep trying to please everyone seems no matter what, someone else is unpleased haha. soo yeah i agree with drums not being so loud it brings a clipping noise when you blend it with many sounds imo and takes away some treble especially if it is mixed with bass on top of it. Idk i like the sounds to be level imo not one above each other. oh and the sounds not matching is the reason why this is called brainwave proj. I wanted something really out there, something very unexpected and unique and each sound have nothing to do with each other.

I can see a noticeable amount of melody that is recognizable from your last song. It still sounds nice though! Nice mix of sounds, and the usual piano. The first 8 seconds need a touch-up though. It was overlapping and didn't sound quite right. Catchy beat and all-in-all a great loop!

I feel like i'm in one of those anime journeys. Great job on the melody. The ambiance isn't that great until about 1:11. Though i'm expecting that you weren't going much for ambiance. It's a good beat that might go well with some type of super smash bros game.

XayberOptix responds:

Thanks for listening and writing a review!

Really like the beat, but at 0:14 the piano started to get overlapped. Not too much, but enough to be noticed. Nice melody. This is good listening music, but i'm afraid i cant think of anything it would go well in.

At the beginning of the song, i felt like i was standing in a broken down amusement park, and there was one of those...music boxes playing somewhere. Great job on the ambiance, and i feel like this would be great for a Halloween hunt :).

Hyperion666 responds:

:D hah yeah I can see that definately. Thanks for the review.

I am a very different kind of artist...I have many traits. Some of them being that i am a writer, and a slight musician. I dabble in animation every now and then. Right now i am pretty much a nobody, but i hope i can help other people become known on NG.
